He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Bertram speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again.
