Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
