History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Herbalist and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Herbalist and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hubert will drive conversation. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and to end his boredom
