Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to be a stableman again

When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Dean began to lead the lost caravan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
