Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trym fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a black coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head, and is pretty ugly. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and violet handkerchief worn on his left side. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
