History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. A true patriot, Miles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
