History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Bernard has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Miner and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
