History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Randal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Randal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Geoffrey studied abroad. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
