History: Gifted from a young age, John studied abroad. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
