Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. After coming to the age of reason, Manfred took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
