Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His head has been shaved. His eyes are likewise blue.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Thomas isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Godfrey grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
