History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Randal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
