History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Kody learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country.
