History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kody was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
