Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
