In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his silver hair down. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alexandre is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born to a Engraver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
