Jocelyn Merton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His black hair is cut short. His ears are large.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is content.

Ernest Myerscough, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a red cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He works hard and plays hard.
History: Born to a Fletcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ernest grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ernest. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
Ideals: Optimist. Flaws: Hedonist. Bonds: Attractive, Poor, Criminal record. Occupation: Mason

Hugh Stansfield, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This exceptionally lanky man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He wears his auburn hair down. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he would like to get married and retire
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Addict. Bonds: Enemies, Family, Has a crush. Occupation: Cook

Heward Fawcett, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Heward wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Heward has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
Ideals: Disciplined, Opinionated. Flaws: Insane, Disease. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Doctor
Voice: pre-pubescent

Thomas Myerscough, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This dark-skinned male wears grey trousers with white and tan striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
