Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second son.

He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

History: Born in the south to a Animal Trainer, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
