History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
