History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Miles's homeland. Miles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
