His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second daughter.
