History: Arnold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
