Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly daggers and greatswords. His white hair is cut short. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Lance reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, brown shirt, and grey tie. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: This slender man stands about 5'5". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Anthony is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Anthony took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He stands about 5'5" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
