History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Dean has worked very hard to control his curse. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
