History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Conrad studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's looking for his big break

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to clean up the streets
