Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Alex was born with his father's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. Roger abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
