History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Sailor, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: Gifted from a young age, Conrad studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
