Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
