History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Frederick was taken on many hunting expeditions. Frederick was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
