History: Alex lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
