History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. William was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Gunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
