Percival Wentworth, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This light-skinned male has the majority of his body covered in plate. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He has worked as a Healer like his father before him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to be a cook again

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Roger Tattersall, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly longswords and flails. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Roger was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roger decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Jocelyn Tatum, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He stands about 6'5" and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jocelyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jocelyn. Being a Sage kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
