History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
