History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Baker again.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His auburn hair is still thick. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Peter was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Godfrey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
