History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Farmer. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a grey vest and prefers green and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. A true patriot, Chad would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Doctor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Ernest began to lead the lost caravan. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
