History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Bounty Hunter father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Dean reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent father
