History: Born to a Performer, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
