History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Reynard has worked very hard to control his curse. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: This younger middle-aged man dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a green coat with tan slacks, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: William was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, William never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
