History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Chad was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Junk Dealer. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and revenge
