History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Balimaar began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sai use. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
