Richard Clifford, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Knight soon after.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Apothecary who has hired him part-time. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. During his travels, Gerald and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerald discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerald fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Jocelyn Breeden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
