History: Gerald was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to open a new tavern
