History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
