History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears a grey coat over a red low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His white hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is long and red with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Shane was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Aldous speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
