Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and he is greedy

Description: He wears long strands of aquamarine and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'0" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His ears are large.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Hugh was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is greedy

Description: This man is very fat, and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with black slacks. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his black hair up. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This light-skinned male wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Randal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
