History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
