History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother.
