History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Dyer mother left him crippled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barber. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he would like to get married and retire

History: Bertram was born with his mother's beautiful face. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Doctor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
