He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

His auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Theodoric is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. One day when Theodoric was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Theodoric was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
