History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Thomas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thomas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Dustin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Geoffrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Sage; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Trym was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cartwright. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: To be a Baker again; and a deep hatred of dire rats
